The Rehabilitation Centers at Vernon Manor and Manchester Manor
offer the latest treatment programs and equipment. Our specialized
services are provided by
an experienced staff whose efforts are coordinated to meet the
unique needs of each client. The therapy department's primary
goal is to ensure that clients reach their maximum functional
ability and return to their daily routines.
Inpatients and outpatients
who may benefit from rehabilitation treatment include those with
conditions due to:
Stroke or other neurologic disease
Orthopedic injury
Degenerative disease
Multiple trauma
Amputation
Neuromuscular diseases
The staff includes licensed and registered physical therapist, occupational
therapists and speech therapists. All care is physician-directed
and supervised by the medical staff. The therapy department includes
a rehab gym, private (individual) treatment rooms, and a rehab
hospitality apartment.

Progressive gait training
Transfer training
Therapeutic exercise strengthening/stretching
Wheelchair positioning/needs/modification
Body mechanics/back care
Specialized prosthetic and orthotic training
