Covid Updates

Vernon Manor continues to follow all Department of Public Health (DPH), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) , and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recommendations related to managing the COVID-19 pandemic.

We monitor the county COVID-19 transmission and resident /staff vaccination rates, frequently, participate in DPH Infection Control Educational Sessions, and implement necessary safety measures ongoing.

Staff and visitors are required to participate in surveillance in the main lobby prior to entering resident care areas. Surveillance include temperature screen and responding to a surveillance questionnaire. Applicable PPE is required as directed by Vernon Manor’s medical director and regulatory guidance.

Regular Family Town Hall conference calls are also conducted to share information between facility staff and families related to infection control measures and other updates.
